A Compact Space with Plenty to Explore
An engaging RC experience starts with a layout that gives drivers something interesting to do. For the Imagica project, we created two arenas with different purposes:

Together, the arenas showcase how varied the RC hobby can be—from carefully picking a route over an obstacle to coordinating the movements of a miniature machine.
The Crawling Track: Precision Over Speed
Our 12 ft × 8 ft RC crawling track focuses on controlled off-road driving.
Uneven surfaces, climbs, and technical sections encourage drivers to think about their approach. Where should the front tyres go? How much steering is needed? When is a gentle throttle input better than more power?
That is what makes crawling enjoyable. Each obstacle becomes a small challenge, and successfully navigating it brings its own satisfaction.
The track was designed to give RC crawlers opportunities to demonstrate their capability while creating an engaging miniature off-road experience.
The Construction Arena: Get to Work in Miniature
Alongside the crawling course, we built an 8 ft × 8 ft RC construction arena.
This space provides a miniature worksite environment for excavators, loaders, trucks, and other construction RC vehicles. It offers a different pace of play, centred on positioning, coordination, and operating the machines.
Construction RC captures the appeal of real machinery in a smaller format. Moving an excavator arm or manoeuvring a truck into position requires attention and careful control—making the activity as much about the process as the result.
From Initial Structure to Final Details
The vlog follows the complete build process, including the initial setup and structure, terrain development, obstacle creation, detailing, and finishing.
Each stage contributes to the final experience. The structure establishes the space, the terrain creates the driving challenge, and the details bring the miniature environment together.
