Buying Link: HStar Rexy
The HStar Rexy puts race-car looks and RC drifting into a model small enough for a tabletop track. Its Porsche 911 GT3 R-inspired shape, bold livery and rear wing give it plenty of display appeal. On a smooth surface, its 4WD system and gyro assistance make practising controlled slides the main event. RC Cars, Drones & Maker Electronics

Learn to drift in a small space
The Rexy’s 1:43 scale makes it suited to a smooth indoor floor or a compact mini drift track. Set out a few small cones, practise one corner at a time and gradually link the turns together. The built-in gyro helps steady the car as you steer through a slide, while proportional controls let you make finer throttle and steering adjustments. YOUCLIQ
Its LED lights add to the effect when the car is moving, particularly during indoor drives and close-up videos. RC Cars, Drones & Maker Electronics
